Free Teaching Resources on America's Bible-Based Founding Principles

The American Heritage Education Foundation (AHEF), a 501.c.3 non-profit organization, is now offering two new, FREE teaching resources by and for teachers on the United States’ founding principles, documents, & history:

  1. America’s Heritage: An Experiment in Self-Government includes 6th-12th grade units on the Mayflower Compact, Declaration, Constitution, Bill of Rights, three branches of government, state interdependence, national debt, & more. It is a sequel to AHEF’s first widely-distributed, award-winning K-12 lessons, America’s Heritage: An Adventure in Liberty.
  2. The Miracle of America High School Teacher Course Guide is a framework for a semester-long secondary Special Topics course (or for supplemental units in existing Social Studies courses) on the philosophical, governing principles of the United States & the influence of the Bible on American thought & history. The course guide compliments AHEF’s sourcebook, The Miracle of America: The Influence of the Bible on the Founding History and Principles of the United States of America for a People of Every Belief.
