Monica M. Powell lives in Montgomery Alabama. She has been an educator for the past 21 years and works as literacy coach in a Public Elementary School which has about 450 students in grades 4-6.
Travel experiences played a major role in establishing her drive for knowledge. Her husband is also military and every place that they have lived she was enrolled a local university. Learning about different people, places, and cultures has given her a deeper appreciation for others. Further, it has taught her to be flexible and to adapt to new situations.
Micah Clark graduated from Auburn University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Marketing. He is the 6th in a family of 10 children, was homeschooled through high school, upon high school graduation he joined the Army and completed a tour in Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom. During college he helped run a real estate firm, led Bible Studies and started his own nutritional business.
DEE TADLOCK earned a Ph.D. in reading education in 1978. She has taught reading at every level from elementary school through graduate school and has also worked with adult literacy in community college, community-based, and workforce programs. Tadlock holds adjunct faculty status at Central Washington University and has been published in several professional journals including Journal of Reading, Phi Delta Kappan, Reading Psychology, and Adult Literacy & Basic Education.
Judson College Admissions Representatives Rebecca Watford and Brittany Hall were privileged to receive their elementary, middle, and high school education at home. Enthusiastically supported by their parents before and during college, Rebecca and Brittany excelled during their time at Judson, completing undergraduate degrees in 4 years with distinction and honors in multiple fields. As advocates of a home education, both women are passionate about encouraging homeschool students in their pursuit of higher education.
Dr. Libby Hodge is a Licensed Pastoral Counselor and Certified Life Coach. She holds her Doctorate of Pastoral Counseling from Chesapeake Bible College and Seminary. Dr Libby is a Licensed Facilitator for Identity and Destiny and is certified through the American Association of Christian Counselors for Pastoral Counseling. She serves as Children’s Ministry Director for Connection Church in Hinesville, GA.
Deborah is the owner of The Medical Transcription Service based in Phoenix, Arizona. She hires medical transcriptionists to work from home via the internet. She is an experienced teacher and business owner. You will enjoy her warmth, humor, and practice advice.
